2 Weeks Old

Raya had her 2 weeks old appointment this past week. Babies are suppose to back up to their birth weight by this appointment since they loose weight in the hospital. She was born at 7 lbs 13 oz and left the hospital 10 oz lighter. At her check up she weighed in at a whopping 8 lbs 10 oz !! I couldn't be more proud, especially since I struggled with breastfeeding Spencer at first...I guess I learned from that. She is measuring 22 inches long, which puts her in 92 percentile for height!! Now for the bad news. The doctor found some pus behind her ear drum. He said the ear was not red like an ear infection but because of her age he wants her on medicine. Raya is a bit congested so we are watching for signs of RSV. I feel like we are just waiting for her to get worse but so far so good! Wow I was going to post some pictures but I don't have any new ones!! I didn't think it would happen to us, you know the classic take lots of pictures of your first baby and then the rest of the kids get only a few. I thought since this was our first girl that we would be going crazy with the camera...particularly since she is so pretty. I will repent and take some shots!!
