I am not proud to say that I have let my son watch as much tv and movies as he has. However, sometimes it is necessary to get some things done. Fellow mothers you know what I mean.
Spencer finds a movie he likes and wants to watch it all the time, he will still ask for other ones but there is always a favorite for a period of time. Some favorites as he calls them are "Nemo", "Cars", "Ku Panda" and right now it is all about "Buzz"! Spencer runs around the house jumping from one place to another shouting "Infinity ON OOON!!" ( "To infinity and beyond")
One morning Spencer was cuddling in bed with me, a rare moment these days. He kept pointing around the room saying what sounded like tadpole. It took a few tries before we realized he was pointing to the pictures of Temples. So we thought Temples would make a good FHE lesson which, with a toddler, consists of a song, prayer and a less than 5 minute lesson.
We got the biggest Temple picture we have and set it right in front of Spencer as we explained that the Temple is the Lord's house and that families can be sealed forever there. Then it dawned on me that Temples (and living righteous lives) could make families last for "infinity on on". Then Spencer started to include the Temple in his "infinity on on" saying.
Tuesday morning when Spencer found the Temple picture we used for FHE, (I still had not found a home on the wall for it) he dragged it to the bathroom door where Chad was showering. He knocked on the door and said " Daddy, Temple infinity on on!"
SOOOO CUTE!!!! I can't wait for Wyatt to talk!!
