Cloth Diapers So Far

I decided to change to cloth diapers for a few reasons. One reason is that it is cheaper (not at first but in the long haul) and because children in cloth diapers potty train sooner. According to my research and from other moms' first hand experiences, boys take longer to potty train. Plus many boys may not train until they are close to three years old. While living in Wymount I meet a few moms that swore by cloth diapers and their kids all potty trained at 18 months old! So that is my goal, to at least start trying then. I have made the switch and already see a change in Spencer. When he wets himself he makes it know he wants to be changed by going to stand at the top of the stairs where the gate is or if we are outside, he gets up to the door and starts trying to open it. I had moved the changing station into the bathroom so that I was close to the toilet and sink but just moved all the stuff back to his room. Overall we are adjusting and I am waiting on a sprayer that attaches to the toilet to rinse diapers off....things will be much easier soon.
