My Full, Undivided Attention

Spencer is a people person. If I am working in the kitchen, he is under my feet, playing in the cupboards and pulling on my legs. He will walk around the house but will come right back to where I am in a few moments, unless he is making mischief elsewhere because this house is not exactly baby proofed. When he plays in the front room he wants someone in there to watch him. And I mean watch him, if I try to read while he plays, he will start being naughty, doing the things he knows will get my attention. (Examples of being naughty are playing with cords/outlets, pulling leaves off plants and yanking/eating the drapes.) It is not like he needs or wants me to play with him every minute, he plays alone happily, however, he just wants my full, undivided attention.
