Fat Feet

Spencer got a new pair of sandals. This was a huge feat (pun intended). First I went to Wal-Mart to look for a pair of shoes for him because I didn’t want to spend a lot for him to just outgrown them in a short time. I tried the shoes that looked about his size; you know when you hold the shoe to the bottom of his foot to measure. All the shoes that I could squeeze his feet into were twice as long yet not the width he needed. Spencer just tripped over the inches of shoe in front of his toes. I thought I was crazy so I had Chad come with us to Target to try again. Same result, Spencer’s feet are fat. Finally we went to an actual shoe store with a larger selection. We found a pair of sandals that adjust around the ankle and over the toes that work to accommodate my son’s chucky feet.
