After a long day for Spencer, I wrestle him into his pj's and Chad prepared the bottle for the night time routine feeding/cuddle time. Chad rocks in the chair for a moment while I finish the wrestling match and then I set Spencer on the ground to walk him over to 'Dada'. * To our surprise Spencer takes three strides with great balance from my hands to Chad's. How many steps do babies have to take to qualify as walking? I guess no matter what, these were his first steps!
*Spencer has been walking next to me while holding only one hand. He refuses to hold more than one of your hands as he walks. Once Spencer has good balance and momentum for a few steps I try to let go and have him keep going alone. The moment our hands separate he drops to the ground into the crawl position. He has only taken one step alone, until now.

ReplyDeleteHey! I didn't know you changed your address! I like your blog :) I can't believe he's walking already! Camper just started crawling, but I think walking won't be too far behind. It's a lot more work to keep up with him, but it's fun. Talk to you soon!!
