Old Fashioned
I am not really sure how or where to start. That is probably because I am not good with technology and that is because I don’t have it. My husband and I have not yet joined this century. We have a pre-paid cell phone, (which turns out to be more of a pain than it is worth) but no actual plan. We only have one phone, which makes it hard to call each other if we both are away from a landline. No mp3 players here. However we do have a computer and a camcorder. I feel old fashion. I love being a stay at home mom and making dinner for my husband. Sewing, cooking, cleaning are often times enjoyable for me, probably because I feel accomplished when my home is neat and I make a healthful homemade meal. I love hanging the wash outside to dry. It makes me feel good to save energy. I feel like I burn more calories bringing the wash outside to hang it up and take it down (still trying to lose my baby weight). As I hang up the clean laundry I imagine I am in a different era and there are children running around the backyard like in a scene from the Pearl Harbor movie with Ben Affleck. Then I come back to reality and toss the clothes in the dryer for just 10 minutes on air to help with the static and make then softer. So like I said I am old fashion. I guess some might think I am simple for enjoying the daily tasks of a homemaker, but that is the old fashioned part of me.
